Centennial Spring Fling this Saturday!

The 2009 Centennial Spring Fling is scheduled for this Saturday, June 6 at deKoevend Park in Centennial from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This FREE event is designed as an interactive festival for children of all ages to enjoy. More than 5,000 people are anticipated to attend.

Activities at the Centennial Spring Fling include entertainment on the Show Stage, wandering entertainment by balloon sculptors, face painters and caricature artists, Game Zone, Come Out and Play Pavilion, Creation Stations and Arts and Crafts Stations. The little tikes can stop by Tot Town and help paint the town red, yellow or blue. Life size chess, checkers, Chutes and Ladders and High Ho Cherry-O are on hand as well.

deKoevend Park is located at the Goodson Recreation Center, 6315 S. University Blvd. (a half mile north of Arapahoe Rd. and University Blvd.).

Celebrate Centennial Under the Stars

This event promotes health, wellness, education and fitness while celebrating a sense of community within Centennial.  This will be the 4th year for this family oriented event and each year the number of attendees increases.  In 2009, the City is taking the lead role.

Activities include:
Free health screenings
Family safety information
Fitness and exercise activities
Ways to be environmentally friendly

Dine at any participating  restaurant  for breakfast, lunch or dinner, on April 30th, and 25% of your food bill goes directly to Project Angel Heart. To see a list of restaurants visit: http://www.diningoutforlife.com.

Last year Dining Out for Life raised over $220,000 thanks to people like you. This year promises to be even bigger and better but they can't do it without our help. Call one of the participating restaurants and make your reservation today. It will be one of the most satisfying meals you ever eat. Be sure to tell everyone you know to eat out on April 30th and thank you for your support. And don't forget that many of the restaurants server breakfast, lunch, and dinner... you can dine out 3 times on Thursday!

Avoid traffic headaches by reading the updated list of road construction zones on the City of Centennial's website.

Call Center

The City of Centennial has setup a 24-hour hotline to help citizens with any issues related to the city. If you spot a pot hole, code violation, etc., you can call (303) 325-8000 anytime for assistance. You can also visit the city's official website and use the Citizen Response form.
