The 2009 Centennial Spring Fling is scheduled for this Saturday, June 6 at deKoevend Park in Centennial from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This FREE event is designed as an interactive festival for children of all ages to enjoy. More than 5,000 people are anticipated to attend.

Activities at the Centennial Spring Fling include entertainment on the Show Stage, wandering entertainment by balloon sculptors, face painters and caricature artists, Game Zone, Come Out and Play Pavilion, Creation Stations and Arts and Crafts Stations. The little tikes can stop by Tot Town and help paint the town red, yellow or blue. Life size chess, checkers, Chutes and Ladders and High Ho Cherry-O are on hand as well.

deKoevend Park is located at the Goodson Recreation Center, 6315 S. University Blvd. (a half mile north of Arapahoe Rd. and University Blvd.).
